Hangal, July 23: Bal Gangadhar Tilak Jayanti was celebrated at Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Hangal. Students beautifully explained the significance of this day. He spoke about Tilak’s views on education and rights, his work of creating awareness through the newspaper ‘Kesari ‘, and the importance of his famous slogan “Swaraj is my birthright, I will get it”.

ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಈ ದಿನದ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಸುಂದರವಾಗಿ ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು. ಅವರು ತಿಲಕರ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಮತ್ತು ಹಕ್ಕುಗಳ ಕುರಿತ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಕೋನ, ‘ಕೇಸರಿ’ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ಜನಜಾಗೃತಿ ಮೂಡಿಸಿದ ಕಾರ್ಯ ಹಾಗೂ “ಸ್ವರಾಜ್ಯ ನನ್ನ ಜನ್ಮಸಿದ್ಧ ಹಕ್ಕು, ಅದನ್ನು ನಾನು ಪಡೆದೇ ತೀರುತ್ತೇನೆ” ಎಂಬ ಅವರ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ ಘೋಷಣೆಯ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
