Hangal, June 5: World Environment Day was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Hangal.
Principal Sridevi and Meghana inaugurated the program by watering a plant.
“The small work we do can save the environment. Environmental protection is the responsibility of all of us. Building a plastic-free nation is the responsibility of all of us. If we use cloth bags instead of plastic bags, we can save the environment at least to a small extent,” said Smt. Prithvi, calling out to the children.
The students of class 6 sang the song ‘We, the children, save the environment’ melodiously.
ಹಾನಗಲ್‌, ಜೂ. 5: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಹಾನಗಲ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶ್ವ ಪರಿಸರ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ಪ್ರಧಾನಾಚಾರ್ಯರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಶ್ರೀದೇವಿ ಅವರು ಹಾಗೂ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಮೇಘನಾ ಅವರು ಗಿಡಕ್ಕೆ ನೀರುಣಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಚಾಲನೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.
“ನಾವು ಮಾಡುವ ಸಣ್ಣ ಕೆಲಸ ಪರಿಸರವನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಬಹುದು. ಪರಿಸರ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆ ನಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲರ ಹೊಣೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಪ್ಲಾಸ್ಟಿಕ್ ಮುಕ್ತ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ನಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲರ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಪ್ಲಾಸ್ಟಿಕ್ ಚೀಲಗಳನ್ನು ಬಳಸದೆ ಬಟ್ಟೆಯ ಚೀಲಗಳನ್ನು ಬಳಸಿದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲ್ಪ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಕ್ಕಾದರೂ ಪರಿಸರ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಸಾಧ್ಯ” ಎಂದು ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಪೃಥ್ವಿ ಅವರು ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಕರೆಕೊಟ್ಟರು.
6ನೇ ತರಗತಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ‘ನಾವು ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಪರಿಸರ ಉಳಿಸಿ’ ಎಂಬ ಗೀತೆಯನ್ನು ಸುಮಧುರವಾಗಿ ಹಾಡಿದರು.
